Have you ever decided to be with someone because of the good you can get from the relationship?

Or because you can find what you need from the other person?

Or maybe because you are broken and you think you’ve found the person who can help you fix yourself?

We’ve all loved as much as we’ve all been loved.

But if you’ve said yes to the questions above then that love is impure and adulterated.

Selfish and wrong.

Insufficient.

Detrimental.

Skinny love.

I’ve heard this song a long time ago, from someone with a husky voice who delivered the song with so much power and justice.

But it wasn’t until I heard it again from a TV series I’ve been following (this time, a different version) that I actually felt and understood what the song means.

This could be misinterpreted in many ways on so many levels.
